Regional Scholarship Fund

One scholarship award will be made annually by the Regional Board of Directors and announced at the Regional Convention in October.
The amount of the award will be determined by funds available and usually will be made directly to the institution the student is attending in the name of the institution and the student.
Monies for the award will be taken from interest earned on the Eastern Regional Scholarship Endowment Fund and any gifts made for scholarship awards.
The Regional Board of Directors will review applications and make an award to the person who best meets the qualifications.
Only upper classmen on the undergraduate level will be eligible for an award along with graduate students, and no student shall receive the award more than once at any level of study unless no other qualified student applies. No preference shall be shown to graduate or undergraduate students.

The applicant must be a member in good standing of an Advent Christian Church within the Eastern Region of the Advent Christian General Conference.
The applicant must be committed to training for pastoral ministry, missions, youth ministry, or other church related vocation within the Advent Christian denomination.
The applicant must be of sound Christian character and provide a letter of recommendation from his/her pastor with the scholarship application.
The applicant must fill out a financial form demonstrating financial need.
The applicant must provide a transcript of the last completed year of schooling.
